"Our aim is to represent the public by influencing the provision of health and social care"

INTRODUCTION
The Northern Health and Social Services Countil (NHSSC) is an organisation working on behalf of the local community to make sure your views or concerns are passed on to ocal health and social services planners and managers.

There are 24 voluntary members who live throughout the ten District and Borough Council areas of Antrim, Ballymena, Magherafelt, Cookstown, Larne, Carrickfergus, Newtownabbey, Coleraine, Ballymoney and Moyle. They come from a range of backgrounds and have a special interest in health and social services matters.

Members are supported by a small number of staff who have specialist knowledge about local health and social services available and can provide you with information, advice or assistance.
