Exhibitions
and Information Days
We set up our exhibition stand at various events and had staff on
hand to distribute leaflets and discuss local issues. If you're
planning an event in your area then let us know.
Media
Coverage
Pick up a copy of one of the local weeklies or a community magazine
and you just might read about our work. Many thanks to editors for
the media coverage.
Advertising
Looking for advice on your rights? Then turn to Consumer Organisations
in Yellow Pages. We have joined with other consumer organisations
to place a full page advertisement which briefly describes the role
of each and lists contact details. We will also continue to join
with the other three Councils in a large format display in the telephone
directory.
Hospital
Radio
If you're in hospital be it Antrim, Causeway, Mid-Ulster or Moyle
then tune into hospital radio. A short message, played at intervals
during broadcasting time, outlines our role, gives details of who
to speak to about health and social services matters and encourages
patients to pick up our information leaflet on display in the hospital
if they wish to find out more. Thanks to hospital radio broadcasters
for playing our jingle.
Council
Meetings
The past year saw us meet in a range of community facilities. Our
travels took us to Broughshane, Ballyronan, Loughgiel, Armoy, Kilrea
and even to the coast when we met in Carnlough. Did you know you
are welcome to attend our monthly council meeting? Check with our
staff for details of time, date and venue.
Wallet
Cards
Wallet cards continue to target people accessing services through
first appointments. The handy-sized card lists contact details and
can be kept for future reference. Thanks to Trust staff for their
help in distributing these.
