Contacts

We can help if you have a query about health and social care or require assistance with making a complaint. In the past year 638 enquiries were dealt with, assistance was provided with making 165 complaints and an increased number of hits were recorded to our website.

Remember the NHSSC deals solely with health and social care issues not social security issues such as benefits. Anyone with a benefit related query should contact their local Social Security Office. Visit www.ssani.gov.uk for an A-Z list.

Treatment and care was by far the most common reason for complaint. This was followed by staff attitude, care management packages and child care access. If you want to change something for the better or want to make sure no-one else experiences what you have been through consider using the HPSS Complaints Procedure. Jacqueline McNeill, Information/Complaints Officer is on hand to help you through the process.
