Contacts

We can help if you have a query about health and social care or require assistance with making a complaint.

In the past year 503 enquiries were dealt with, a decrease on the previous year.

Assistance was provided with making 176 complaints, a slight increase on the previous year. Treatment and care was the most common reason for complaint. This was followed by care management packages.

An increased number of hits were recorded to our website.

Remember the NHSSC deals solely with health and social care issues not social security issues such as benefits. Anyone with a benefit related query should contact their local Social Security Office. Visit www.ssani.gov.uk for an A-Z list.

If you want to change something for the better or want to make sure no-one else experiences what you have been through consider using the HPSS Complaints Procedure. Jacqueline McNeill, Information/Complaints Officer is on hand to help you through the process.
